Creating Motifs with Anne-Lise

Using our photos from Les Oakes, we created motifs on a collage background for us to use later on in the week to create surface patterns in Photoshop. I only managed to create one in the lesson (I will catch up at some point...), I used a stick and ink to draw two barrels on top of eachother; I really like how this turned out as it was very similar to one of my favourite techniques, quink ink and a quill. I started a painting, but I didn't like it so I may try it again on better paper or just move on and try something else...
